“Glass SpillSafe shelves help contain spills and eliminate mess. Humidity controlled crispers keep your fruits and vegetables fresh.
We bought this fridge for many reasons: (1) we have a small kitchen and preferred to stay in the 18 cu feet range for size, (2) we wanted an energy efficient fridge, (3) we wanted glass shelves and adjustable door shelves. This fridge fit all of our criteria, and the price was right.
The fridge is very quiet and seems to run well thus far.
The crisper drawers in this fridge really do seem to work well in helping our fresh produce keep longer. This hasn’t been the case for me with other fridges. Astonishingly, a package of strawberries was in our fridge for almost a week, and there was no rot or mold on the berries. Usually, after a day in the fridge, berries are ready to be tossed.
I do wish that the freezer was roomier. There is very little room for items like frozen pizzas and boxed foods in general. Also, the adjustable door shelves are difficult to adjust.”

“We’ve had our refrigerator for a year now. I have no major complaints. After reading lots of reviews and the negativity surrounding the Frigidaire brand, we opted to get a 5 year warranty through the store (not Frigidaire), but happily we haven’t needed …”

“When we purchased our home this past summer, the owners took their fridge with them. We headed out to the appliance store to find a new, yet cheap, fridge. We had to purchase one on the small side because of the counters directly above the spot for the fridge. The previous fridge was a large side by side and there was barely enough room for a piece of paper to fit between the bottom of the cupboard and the top of the fridge. We chose this model because it was small and also had the option for the icemaker, and since I am a smoothie junkie, that is a necessity.
The appliance people delivered it and quickly hooked up the icemaker without incident. However, an oversight on our part was the placement of the doors. They were on the left side (from us) of the fridge, making the door open the opposite of the counter, cupboards, and sink. I didn’t really pay much attention to this at the time, so my brother came over with his drill and easily reversed the doors.
The fridge has a decent amount of space inside for its size. There are two adjustable wire shelves and two large crispers on the bottom. The door contains a spot for milk or large soda bottles, as well as a small compartment for things like butter. Since I work for a very large foodservice company, I have some experience with food safety. The placement of this, and most fridges, is not designed with the interest of proper food storage. For example, vegetables should be stored on the top shelf of the fridge, and eggs and uncooked meat should be stored at the lowest possible point. So, yes, my eggs actually get store in the crisper to keep them at a safe temperature and to prevent possible cross contamination if one breaks. The door of the fridge is typically the warmest point, so it is not wise to store potentially hazardous foods there, such as milk and cheese. The door is where our sodas, wine, and vinegar-based salad dressings go.
The freezer only offers ample storage if the ice tray is removed. It is enough to store a few boxed items like TV dinners and a few bags of vegetables as well as a half gallon of ice cream. There is also a cheap plastic removable tray which I actually keep on my counter as a place store some fruit like bananas. When the freezer is full, the door must be closed securely to make sure something is not getting in the way and preventing it from being closed properly.
Now for the performance. Does it keep foods cold? Yes, and the temperature is easily adjustable. Does it perform quietly? Somewhat. It probably makes a little more noise than I would prefer, but it is not ‘loud’. Another interesting and good feature is that it has a never clean condenser since the condenser is enclosed. What does this mean? It prevents dust from getting into the condenser, which would make it perform poorly. As I also found out over the weekend when I heard water leaking from the back of the fridge, the evaporator catch tray is on the back and not underneath like many refrigerators (I initially though the ice maker connection line was severed). I am guessing this is to prevent damage to the floors. Anyway, the bucket easily slides off and is easy to dump and replace.
In conclusion, this so far is a pretty good refrigerator that performs well and is the perfect size for our current needs and space.”
